About
A software company built to own things for a long time.
Goods Media LLC is a United States software company. We build products, acquire established ones, and operate all of them ourselves. We are not an agency and we do not take client work.
What we do
Software for markets the big platforms treat as an edge case.
Most software is built for the largest audience it can reach. That serves the middle of the market well and everyone else poorly — those customers end up bending their work to fit a tool designed for somebody with a different job.
We work at those edges. A Shopify merchant who wants to know whether $48 outsells $52 shouldn't need an enterprise experimentation platform to find out. A homeschool co-op coordinating weekly meetups for forty families shouldn't be running it out of a group chat. In both cases the tools exist; they were simply built for someone else.
We grow the portfolio two ways. We build products where we can see the gap clearly, and we acquire established software from founders who have built something good and are ready to move on to whatever comes next.
How we operate
Small team, product revenue, long horizon.
We run what we own
Development, customer support, and operations are all handled in-house. There is no outsourced support desk between us and the people using our software.
Funded by customers
Revenue comes from subscriptions to our products, not advertising or data. That keeps the incentives pointed at the people actually paying us.
Bought to hold
Products we acquire stay acquired. We're not assembling a portfolio to resell — we buy things we're willing to run indefinitely.
Leadership
Who runs the company.
Megan leads Goods Media, setting direction for the portfolio and deciding what the company builds and what it acquires. She works closely with the teams behind both products and spends much of her time with the people who use them.
Andrew oversees engineering and technical operations across the portfolio — how the products are built, deployed, and supported. He also leads technical review when the company evaluates software to acquire.
Work with us, or sell to us.
We're hiring selectively, and we're always open to talking with founders about their software.
